1) Do I have to have any children to be a surrogate?
 

Yes, you have to have at least one natural born child to be a surrogate..
 

 

2) What kind of tests will I have to take?
 

You will have to first have a psychological evaluation performed by a psychologist. This will include a written personality test. You will also have physical exams and blood test to determine if you are a good candidate for surrogacy. And a background check. Your husband or partner will also be required to have psychological and blood tests
 

3) Do I have to be married?
 

No. However if you are married or if you have a partner they must be in support of your decision to become a surrogate.
 

4). Do I have to meet the intended parents?
 

Yes, all surrogate matches require a non- anonymous agreement.
 

5.) Does your agency facilitate traditional surrogacy?
 

No we only arrange gestational surrogate agreements.

 

6.) Does gestational surrogacy require injections?
 

Yes, depending on the protocol, injections are required up until 10 weeks of pregnancy.

 

7.) Why does a woman require a surrogate?
 

There are several reasons, for an intended mother to not have the ability to carry her child. There may be a history of miscarriages, due to many reasons.
 

8.) Do you work with all types of couples?
 

Yes, we work with single, gay and heterosexual couples.
 

 

9.) How long does a surrogate cycle take?

Between 10-12 weeks before a transfer to the surrogate's uterus occurs.
 

​10) What is the process?
 

The surrogate and intended mother or egg donor are place on birth control pills.
 

Then a drug called Lupron is administered by injection which helps to coordinate both women's cycle.
 

The surrogate then begins an estrogen supplement to build the uterine lining.
 

A few days before the embryo transfer, the surrogate begins progesterone injections( or pills or oral pills) to help her maintain the pregnancy.
 

The embryo (s) are then transferred to the surrogates uterus. The process is painless and fast.
 

​Ten days later, the surrogate is given a pregnancy test.
 

If a pregnancy occurs, the progestrine medication continues for 10 weeks.

 

11) How am I paid for surrogacy?
 

​All expenses are covered. You will also receive a monthly allowance, along with a monthly payment of your compensation that is paid out in monthly payments. 

 

12) What are you paid for surrogacy

 
 Depends on the state 1st time Surrogates start at $40,000 with a benefit package of $10,000 for a total of $50,000.  Previous Surrogates earn more.
